Ortho-Bionomy® follows the osteopathic principle: structure governs function. 

If our structure is not aligned, our function (our ability to move, breathe, digest, think…) can’t be optimal. During a session I use subtle, yet deliberate movements that re-position your body so your alignment can be restored. 
Once you find alignment again, your body and mind will be able to function at its highest potential.

Ortho-Bionomy® – a body reset

Naturally our body knows how to self-correct and get back to balance. However, when we suffer from illnesses, emotional trauma, stress or we have accidents, falls, incorrect posture we create compensatory patterns to compensate for what is happening to us. These patterns can be beneficial in the short term but dysfunctional in the long term. Pain starts to set in as a warning mechanism and our self-regulating system is disrupted. 
During an Ortho-Bionomy® session, with gentle repositioning of your body, I help you recognise these dysfunctional patterns and let your body readjust itself.
